A complete Solar PV Installation with 10kwh Libbi Battery Storage device and a 5kw Inverter. In addition to the solar and battery installation, the complete project included a myenergi Eddi, a Myenergi Zappi and Bird Blocker around the panels for pest control.
For our clients, who were very focus driven on reducing their energy consumption whilst being consciously aware of their environmental footprint, we design a installation to maximise their roof space. The existing roof had a lot of eves, pitches and unusual shapes to consider. We focused on the south facing roof first and were able to design a 9 panel installation meeting MCS guidelines. The east facing roof we prioritised over the west, as the customers energy consumption was greater in the mornings than it is in the afternoon. We also had the chance to store an excess energy into the batteries which could be released later in the day with an east facing installation. Being EV owners, our clients also wanted a Zappi EV charger installed so they could change their existing energy supplier and tariff to Octopus Intelligent Go - 7.5p per kwh between 23:30 - 05:30. This means our client could charge their myenergi Libbi battery storage device and charge their EV through the myenergi Zappi car charger on just 7.5p per kwh, and then use or release that energy during peak tariffs.
